I want to help make this site better, yet there are some pages I am having problems making. For example, I am trying to make a "Opponent Sends from hand to Graveyard" list, but nothing seems to work. May someone help me, please. MezzoDragon 22:43, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- Personally, I'd say don't bother. We shouldn't be making those pages. The Card Table should link to Special:Ask rather than an article that's doing excatly what Special:Ask should do.
- ie we should add the following to the table:
[http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Ask?title=Special%3AAsk&q=%5B%5BATK%3A%3A{{{atk}}}%5D%5D&po=%3FCard+Type%0D%0A%3FMonster+Type%0D%0A%3FAttribute%0D%0A%3FType%0D%0A%3FDEF%0D%0A%3FLevel%0D%0A&sc=0&eq=yes {{{atk}}}]- So having an ATK value of 1000, would give 1000.
- Same can be done with almost every Property the table adds, eliminating all "List of..." pages.
- This way would not only save us having to make the pages, but make people familiar with how to use Special:Ask. And we're not going to have titles like "List of Level 3 or lower FIRE Dragon-Type Effect Monsters", but people still may want to search combinations like that. Since using the above way would make some people familiar with how to use Special:Ask, they would be able to call up that list themselves, similar to how netrep works. -- Deltaneos (talk) 21:54, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

- You didn't ask a stupid question. I was just suggesting something different. I think your problem is you can't find a particular entry for action1, (and action2, action3 etc) to use? You question still needs to be addressed if we stick with the current way of making lists or do the above suggestion. Just add action1 = Opponent sends from hand to Graveyard or something similar to that to the pages that should be on the list.
