Forum:Make a ultimate deck

ok. It seems to be that most people who make decks don't like to go over the 40 card min limit. From what I see about ppls decks on this wiki they also limit their decks with only 2 or 3 strong cards in the deck itself (not counting fusion/synchro deck.)

When you make a deck you want to have lvl 4 and lower cards that have good attack/defense, and a good effect too. you also want spell and trap cards (these vary from the type of monsters your dueling with)

I Break away the traditional "weak Deck" 40 card strategy.

i have three decks

dark deck

light/earth/wind deck

variety deck (dont matter what type is)

Dark Deck

My dark deck has 60 cards (the Max) About 7 powerful cards with high levels (not including fusion/synchro deck)

All of my powerful cards can be summoned and it makes it so that I don't have to sit and prey that i draw a certain card and get to summon it.

It works out fairly well and gives me a good variety of strategies in just one deck. Plus it confuses people because just when they think they know my strong cards in my deck I pull out another.

Tomorrow I will make a list of my cards that i have in my dark deck (my most pwerful deck)

Somehow I doubt your deck is the "ultimate deck". Every deck has a weakness. For example, I could just Side in a couple of Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror. Also, it would be easier to read your posts if you actually wrote out all of the words. Text messaging language is for your phone, not the forums.--Black Rose 17:25, November 19, 2009 (UTC)

Just make sure to practice what you preach, Akiza'sRose. Also, Mr. 70.158.164.98, a 40 card deck is almost always better than a 60 card deck. You will draw the cards faster, and will make your card choices more potent. -bewk

Even though my strongest cards in my deck have good effects, i don't even need to use that effect that they have.(especially my raviel)

And it gives me an awesome variety to work with(and makes duels more interesting) because I never know what cards ill end up using. I don't have to depend on one strategy were i end up praying that my one mighty monster finds it way from my deck to my hand.

here is a list of my stronger cards in the dark deck (ill add the rest of the cards in the deck onto the list later)

there are only two cards that i need to get and put into my dark deck

rainbow dark dragon (always on the lookout for this

Obelisk the tormentor (have to wait till january shonen jump)

i already know witch 2 cards i would switch them out for

Um isn't it a little arogant to say that your decks is the **ultimate** deck? Let me explain why it isn't the ultimate deck. a deck with 40 cards can draw its combos faster than a deck with more cards, a deck with less high level monsters also gets less dead draws, these decks don't have any need for more than 2 or 3 big monsters because they have 15 synchro monsters that are easier to summon with powerful effects and high stats( Stardust Dragon, Goyo Guardian, Colossal Fighter, Red Dragon Archfiend, Brionac Dragon of the Ice Boundary ect). They also have many other ways of getting rid of monsters such as Icarus Attack, Bottomless Trap Hole, Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute, and Lightning Vortex most of wich are splashable in any deck. While this deck may be fun to play or successful at your tournaments it is not the ultimate deck. I hope that this helps you to understand why people run small decks and only 2 or 3 big monsters in them. Monarch1 15:58, November 20, 2009 (UTC)

I also abide by ll rules and regulations with all of my decks (meaning no forbidden cards)

If someone gets to thinking that they want to duel me with a deck that contains forbidden cards, then i have no problem with that. My shining radiance deck can easily have my chaos emperor dragon - envoy the end put in it.

Well i've got a dark deck too not as big (60) but it's much more evolved with some swarming capability it's designed to be more or less anti - meta:
