Forum:Orichalcos Seal: The Perfect Lore

I've done it! "The Seal of Orichalcos" cannot be made into an official card if its effects are broken. So I came up with effects only applied to Level 4 Normal Monsters and "Orichalcos Shunoros", so to follow a pattern.

The lore would be: During each of your End Phases, pay 500 Life Points or destroy this card. This card cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Face-up Level 4 Normal Monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn: You can add 1 "Orichalcos Shunoros" from your Deck to your hand. "Orichalcos Shunoros" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle.

It's simple and not bannable. Xerdek! 00:21, December 23, 2011 (UTC)

I would prefer it be good enough to get limited. This is just terrible.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 03:02, December 23, 2011 (UTC)

It may be absolutely horrible. But, it would be real and not bannable. As well, it's a mega support for Shunoros. Because, if The Orichalcos was at its prime, it would be banned forever. I could try to make something closer to the orginal though. I just think the back row of monsters id rediculous though. At least for a card that wouldn't get banned. Mega support? it does the same thing Mist Body would do for him, and the adding thing would be cool, if shunoros didn't suck too. I understand it would be cool to have the seal, but if your gonna dream, dream big. Look a Ra, it sucks, and alot of people were saying how they would nerf Slifer stupid. But they didn't, infact, he is 90% the same as the anime. Don't lose hope, and don't be afraid of it getting limited. It's a field, so you can Terraform it.--Helix-king (talkcontribs) 21:10, December 23, 2011 (UTC)

My attempt: Once per turn, if this card would be destroyed, it is not destroyed. Field Spell Cards cannot be activated while this card is face-up on the field. Face-up Normal Monsters you control gain 500 ATK. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, the Attribute of all face-up monsters on your side of the field becomes DARK. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 20:04, December 23, 2011 (UTC)

The card will never be realeaed becasue it lets you control 10 monsters xyz gadgets would be ridiculously powerfull. Maybe the monsters should have same levels, type and attribute.

Exactly, that's why you remove the back row effect. Sure the card won't be as powerful as it was in the series. But, then again, when are cards ever. And people should just be happy that it would be made into a real usable card. Or an alternative: They could always may a collectible one. Xerdek! 21:07, December 23, 2011 (UTC)

Actually, you guys were right; that lore sucked. But, I have a better one, matching the original better. But, it's not broken. Though, it's a far better improvement:

All face-up Level 4 Normal Monsters you control gain 500 ATK. If a face-up Normal Monster is destroyed while it is in a Monster Card Zone, you can place it face-up in your Spell & Trap Card Zone as a Continuous Spell Card, instead of sending it to the Graveyard. Once per turn: You can banish 1 face-up Normal Monster from your Spell & Trap Card Zone to inflict damage to your opponent equal to half that monster's ATK. Once per turn: You can add 1 "Orichalcos Shunoros" from your Deck to your hand. Field Spell Cards cannot be activated while this card is face-up on the field.

Wow okay so while we are talking about unreal field spells, let's try Speed World like this. Speed World 1: For each Standbye Phase, this card gains one speed counter. If this card is destroyed, remove one Speed counter instead. Speed World 2: This card can only be activated from your hand if speed world 1 was destroyed this turn (during any turn). This card gains one speed counter for each of your standbye phase. You can remove any number of your own Speed Counters from this card to activate an appropriate effect: ● 4: Inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each spell Card in your hand. ● 7: Draw 1 card. ● 10: Select and destroy 1 card on the field. I think it needs more work. 108.200.181.194 (talk) 09:31, December 24, 2011 (UTC)
