Good morning everybody,
I have a question regarding the theoretical possibilities for fusion summoning of Vision Hero Trinity.
There were 82 Hero monsters in the OCG including himself. There is Destiny Hero - Disc Commander that is forbidden, Elemental Hero Stratos is limited to 1, Destiny Hero - Malicious is Semi-Limited and Vision Hero is limited to 2. Regarding all this, I came to a result of about 500000 possibilities. But I don't know if i'm right. What do you think, or how could we calcutlate it?
Kind regards, MasterSephiroth

Do you mean there are 82 Hero monsters with different names EACH? I will assume so in my answer. I will also point that Vision Hero Trinity is NOT Semi-Limited; it is Unlimited. I'm assuming you said 2 to exclude the Vision Hero you're Fusion Summoning.
Now, if you multiply 78 by 3 (to account for 3 copies of each different Hero in Main/Extra Deck; we are also excluding D-Hero Disc Commander, E-Hero Stratos, D-Hero Malicious, and V-Hero Trinity for now), you get 234. Now, add the excluded monsters in: 0 (Forbidden) Disk Commander + 1 (Limited) Stratos + 2 (Semi-Limited) Malicious + 2 other copies of Trinity.
.......And we get 239 possible Heroes that you could use as Fusion Material Monsters for the V-Hero. BUT, to account for the different Fusion possibilites in the Fusion Summon, it is quite simple.
Simply perform the following equation: 240 x 239 x 238. (240 represents the choices of Hero monsters for the 1st Fusion Material, 239 represents the choices of Hero monsters for the 2nd Fusion Material Monster [MINUS the 1st Fusion Material Monster you use in the Fusion Summon], and 238 represents the choices of Hero monsters for the 3rd Fusion Material Monster [MINUS the 1st and 2nd Fusion Material Monsters you use in the Fusion Summon]. Overall, the sum should be 13,651,680 different possibilities of Fusion Material Monsters that can be used in Vision Hero Trinity's Fusion Summon.
If anyone thinks I made a mistake in my calculations, please correct me. MasterSephiroth, maybe you can post on my talk page what you did to arrive at your result. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 08:57, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
I suddenly miss the old card game we used to know and love because of the less math. Fallensilence (talk • contribs) 23:26, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
Step 2
Now let's make a LIST of the possibilities XD --Helix-king (talk • contribs) 14:07, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
Umm...Fusion Gate + Return from the Different Dimension = WIN! I really think this card is broken XD it's not hard to get 3 heros in one place, I'll DEFINTELY add it to ALL my Hero Decks. I hope they make more Vision Heros, though. They seem cool. --Drew-Gi-Oh! (talk) 15:20, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
oh yea dude, i always make a deck around DED and trinity will easily fit in. this card is insane. im totally with you on that. DestinyWarrior (talk • contribs) 15:41, August 24, 2010 (UTC)
