Forum:Rise of the Dragon Lord Modification

I'm going to be getting the Rise of the Dragon Lord Structure deck soon. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for good modifications to make to the deck. I saw one on metagame.com but when I went back to check on it it was gone v,..,v Vampiremessiah51 00:01, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, it sucks... I liked that site. I recently saw a deck revolving around field spell control - no joke! The creator had 3 Terraforming, 3 Demise of the Land, and as for field spells, he had one each of:

• Necrovalley (for killing Dark Armed Dragon and Zombies)
• Secret Village of the Spellcasters (he put in Gravekeeper's monsters, which are Spellcasters and compatible with the Village)
• Zombie World (the Monarch-murderer)
• Skyscraper 2 - Hero City and Dark City (he had Destiny and Elemental heroes)
• Mausoleum of the Emperor (he also had Hino-Kagu-Tsuchi, which can murder the hand)
• Array of Revealing Light (for taking care of Gladiator Beasts... apparently).

I take it you're pretty good at making decks huh? >.< I'm not particularly good at them anymore. Long ago i was a genius. I made THE ULTIMATE deck for the rules we played. No tribute, no polymerzation for fusions. *shivers* I didn't have any monsters under six stars. Three blue eyes, three Dark Magicians, three summoned skulls, three gaia, three wing weaver. It was horrifying.

now we play with traditional format, but nothing I do makes a good deck. I just don't know any of the current cards or strategies, back when i played theme decks actually functioned poorly. I have a love for beat down decks, and dragons. So that's why I'm going for the ROTDL, I just don't know how to modify it.

I've heard alot about skill drain decks. They sound absolutely beastly. Until recently I was used to like summoning a blue eyes or something straight from my hand no cost. Now I play with the tributes. Skill drain sounds worthy of looking into...
