Okay here is the chain in dispute:
Chain 1) Threatening Roar is activated Chain 2) Royal Decree is flipped faced up Chain 3) Activate a face-up scrub raid to send threatening roar to the graveyard.
My questions is does threatening roar go through?
Since threatening roar is now in the graveyard and royal decree only negate face-up trap cards on the field, my judge ruled that it does go through. Any thoughts??
Royal Decree negates all trap cards not only face up ones.
While this card is face-up on the field, negate the effects of all Trap Cards on the field except this card.
Anyway for your question, it does negate Threatening Roar (though I dont know why you are bothering to find this out since Scrubbed Raid ends the battle phase anyway lol:).--Waz4liverpool 19:06, February 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Royal Decree negates the effects of Trap Cards that activate on the field, regardless where the Trap Card is when its effect resolves. So, (ignoring that Scrubbed Raid ends the battle phase) Threatening Roar's effect should be negated. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 23:39, February 21, 2010 (UTC)
