Mmmmmm......I was just wandering if I can activate other spells or traps before I can activate Cold Wave itself? and I was just puzzled about ATEMVEGETA's answer when he said that Stardust Dragon cannot negate Snipe Hunter's effect because he said it is not sure whether that card it will be destroyed but what about after it is sure, cant I still negate it with stardust??...please I need verification,answers...except coming from ATEMVEGETA(no offense)

Look. The first thing you must do when you enter the Main Phase 1 is to activate "Cold Wave". If you do any other thing (activate another card, summon, change a monster's battle position, activate a card's effect), then you cannot activate "Cold Wave".

About "Stardust Dragon", what I said is written in his ruling page. "Stardust Dragon" is chained to the card that has an effect of destroying cards (for sure) after any cost is paid, which means that he is chained to the card before her effect's resolution (lets say, after the cost and before the main effect). "Snipe Hunter"'s cost is to discard a card and his main effect is to roll a dice and destroy (if). Thats why you cannot chain "Stardust Dragon" to "Snipe Hunter"'s effect, because "Stardust Dragon" must be chained before the roll is rolled, and with that way you didn't know the rolls result.

Only guys with psychic powers which already knees the future can chain "Stardust Dragon" to "Snipe Hunter"'s effect....(Just kidding!) ATEMVEGETA 6:22, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

  • "Cold Wave" says "at the start of Main Phase 1". There's no smart assing your way out of it, it has to be the first thing you do. As for "Stardust Dragon", that's what the rulings say. It has nothing to do with guessing whether your opponent will destroy or not. You cannot activate Stardust to Snipe/Time Magician/Blowback/Barrel Dragon, period. i dont get it.

Can stardust dragon be tributed on player two's turn? lets say i activate tribute to the doomed, and blow up a card on my turn, and my opponent tributes stardust to negate it, can he even do it on my turn. I say this in reference to the card called EXILED FORCE because it says you can tribute it face-up on your field to destroy one monster on the field. But you can only activate exiled forces effect on your turn.

"Exiled Force" has an ignition effect and "Stardust Dragon" an quick effect. An ignition effect can only be activated by it's controller only in his turn. Quick effects can be activated by it's controller in each player's turn. ATEMVEGETA 10:13, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
