With the up and coming new Syncro Fusion cards in Duelist Revolution, such as Surging Dragon Knight Dragonquites, which list "1 syncro type monster" and 1 other monster of a specific type, I'd think this would be a perfect time for Super Fusion aka Super Polymerization, completely overlooked, and unused, until now, to become a dominant "Staple" for decks. I'd even go so far as to say it might get limited pretty quick.

"Oh, you just summoned Stardust Dragon? Well, too bad, I have a warrior on my field, and I want your monster" *activates Super Polymerization, which is impossible to negate* "now it's my super powerful monster "Dragonquites", and your field is empty." *attacks for game next turn*

What do all think? 70.247.169.204 20:22, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

That doesn't make the card a canidate for limitation. Similar things happen when you hold Fissure or Smashing Ground. It is a powerful combo, but nothing that is broken. -bewk 20:40, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

but you can only Fissure or Smashing Ground on Your turn. Super Fusion puts their monster in the graveyard, (does not destroy, so certain effects aren't activated), can not be negated at all, replaces your weaker monster with a much more powerful one, and can be used on either player's turn.

It may not be broken, but running 3 of them might be too powerful. 70.247.169.204 21:06, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

And then the monster attacks, only to be ended with Compulsory Evacuation Device, Mirror Force, Dimensional Prison, Phoenix Wing Wind Blast, and all the other generic and archetype-specific card removal out there. And I'm not sure, but I don't think that Super Polymerization stops Bottomless Trap Hole and it's kin. -bewk 21:17, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

Well, my Main point was that Super Fusion would come out of obscurity and become a great tech card now with these new monsters that don't have specific monster cards required for their fusion summon, not that it would be super overpowered. 70.247.169.204 22:05, March 17, 2010 (UTC)

Well, your initial statement contradicts your most recent one, but that doesn't matter. Super Polymerization has actually been used in Gladiator Beast decks in the OCG. They use it to fuse one of their monsters (or one of their opponent's) with a Stratos or Malicious from the opponent, or a Prisma from themselves, to bring out an Absolute Zero, Elemental Hero Great Tornado, Elemental Hero The Shining, or Elemental Hero Gaia. -bewk 16:32, March 18, 2010 (UTC)

We should see... a card which is used in everyones deck (espescially 3 copies) is likely to be made semi or even limited.Neos lover 01:20, March 19, 2010 (UTC)

I don't see the alarm here. Yes, it is true that synchro monsters are becoming easier to summon and more common. However, not all decks need synchros to work. Take for example, Lightsworn, Gladiator Beasts, etc... You really have to pray that you opponent synchro summon a monster. That just too risky. As for 3 of them in one deck, I think that it's too much clutter. I mean what happens when you have a super polymerisation in your hand and a warrior on your side of the field but no monsters to steal. It's just too situational.

Well, That's what side decks are for. Right? Neos lover 12:02, March 20, 2010 (UTC)

Well, if it does end up being a Side Deck staple, do you really think it'll get Limited in any way for being in the Side Deck? I don't see myself siding in three Super Polymerization anytime soon, even if my opponent is heavy on Synchro Summons.--Akiza Izayoi 03:08, March 24, 2010 (UTC)
