This is Exprimental Lightsworn's newest Incarnation. I called it Tokyo's Judgement becuase Tokyo is the city of lights and the fact that Judgment Dragon is played nearly every duel. Has gone Synchro.

So far, it is 58/1/0. 24 of which are from DAD so it is as much a dark as Exprimental Lightsworn (Version 4 of my Lightsworn deck.) My side and extra need help.

  • Looks rather normal to me, I would suggest to get rid of mirror force and maybe a roar for a Phoenix wing Wind Blast or Compulsory Evacuation Device. I got a Lightsworn Synchro too, mine uses Lightwave Tuning though. Works great if I draw it XD For extra deck just add 1 of near every Synchro, then double up on good ones like Goyo. I never was great with side decks, put pretty sure you could use some anti-monarch and maybe some twisters or dust tornados? Also it is spelled Judgment Dragon, Threatening Roar, and Dimensional Prison, that will fix those link =P Bio 16:57, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the comment, Zap. The synchro for this deck, Nitro, Junk and Colossal are the only Synchros I have, I'll wait until Crossroads or even Crimson for that. The random Wing or Device will probably be milled too much for me to able to use it and I prefer Roar. Yes, mirror is unchainable but it goes in every deck I have because I usally draw it late or mid game, when the opponent has used masses of resoures so it wouldn't be blown off. Monarchs don't appear alot in my meta nowadays; it is more DAD, Gladiator Beasts and Lightsworn. Dust or Twister isn't really when you look at the removal stuff:

Angel (2)

Dragon (up to 20)

Hunter (1)

Stary (unlimited because of effect.)

Lyla (depends on how long it lives.)

Breaker (1)

Storm (up to 9)

I struggling to decide whether or not to remove Mirror Force for another light. Any thoguhts?

Thanks, Zap. Although it isn't that deep a fix, it is something I will consider. Ruler and Parshath are to beat the norm of 2 Goyo and 2 or 3 Stardust. One more Beckoning for Mirror, yay or nay? 82.21.58.198 17:58, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

  • I think 1 monk should be enough. So remove 1 monk, 3 gardna , 1 summoner, 1 angel and mirror force for 2 lightsworn rapier, 2 bottomless traphole and 3 compulsory evacuation device. Crystal88884 00:48, 14 October 2008 (UTC)

I struggle to see why two sabres are needed when 3 Honests are plenty. I could lose one Ehren and Summoner but I leaving my Angels because they test well. Gardna is great being milled and saved my life many more times than I can count. Compluse is tempting but it I want field control, I'd use Phoenix Wind Blast.

- 1 Ehren, Lightsworn Monk

- 1 Lumina, Lightsworn Summoner

+ 2 Phoenix Wing Wind Blast

I'm gonna test Sabre but only one (because I only have one.) and see if it works.

- 1 Celestia, Lightsworn Angel

+ 1 Lightsworn Sabre

  • I understand hw u feel abt gardna. Although it can save u but it will mostly procrastinate ur doom for 1 attack so most likely u will still lose. However, rapier is more useful as it can increase ur lightsworn attack to destroy those hated syncro monsters like goyo guardian or stardust dragons. Even seasoned metagamers like those in www.metagame.com prefer rapier then gardna. Crystal88884 04:23, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

I am convinced about Sabre now becuase when I mill Wulf, Sabre goes with it to make a level 4 2800 (Nuking Stardust and Gladiator beasts while tieing with DAD.) beatstick. I just traded the set of Necro Gardna for 2 Sabres. I'm gonna test Cold wave and see how it works out.

- 3 Necro Gardna - 1 Burial from a Different Dimension - 1 Mirror Force

+ 1 Jain, Lightsworn Paladin + 1 Lightsworn Sabre + 1 Beconking Light + 2 Cold Wave

Crystal, the reason I ran Gardnas and not Sabres is because I thought that Sabre may be a dead draw when there are no Lightsworn out but I learned Gardna is a worse a dead than Crystal Abunbance when there are no Crystal Beasts (At bit OTT, LOL.) and it only saves you for 1 attack. Sabre and Honest together become stupid. Let's say you have a twin Sabred Jain (3200) and your opponent has a Rainbow Dragon that has sent a total of 12 Crystal Beasts to the grave by it's effect (16000). Attack it, send 1 to 3 Honests to the grave and if your opponent doesnt stop the attack, you can hit for 3500, 19500 or (the truely daring) 35500. Of course, 3 Beckonings mean even more damage. 83500, 135,000 or 183,000.

  • I've been considering Lightsworn Sabre as well, but doesn't the ruling that it doesn't work if discarded through a cost hurt it? I had somebody at my local use it like that, but when I told him the ruling he was quite surprised and lost the match because of it. -- Sub 17:40, 15 October 2008 (UTC)

  • Personally, I'd definitely add at least 2 Plaguespreader Zombies in there in place of the Heralds as soon as CSOC comes out Works well if you get rid of a dead copy of Wulf or Necro Gardna in your hand, and can also get that fatal 4th Lightsworn in the Graveyard, should you need it.

That's a few weeks away. I plan on siding them if I get them. Heralds I like because they shut down DAD, Gladiator Beasts and this deck's No 1 annoyance, other Lightsworns and they still load the grave.

  • When CSOC comes out, the plaguespreader zombie will be a great addition, making all milling decks very strong( Due to synchro). Crystal88884 15:03, 16 October 2008 (UTC)

I like this deck because it has taken about 6,7,8 or 9 attemts to get it right and it isn't perfect but then what deck is? I hopefully see you at the CSOC sneak previews next week. Anyway, back to the deck. I can't really suggest anything because there are many varients of Lightsworn around so I can only edit this deck to another variat. 87.82.138.195 03:56, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
