Tornaments

Can I please play in a tornament because I'm so strong at duels. If there is one in london please let me know.

These aren't my messages above. Try xerocreative.com so you can try out dueling online first before you duel pros. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 13:15, July 21, 2010 (UTC)

Hey your link above looks intresting. Can you please explain how it all works. Also my basic questions

  • Is it free? (Free as in anything and everything that comes from this website)
  • Basic computer requirments?
  • How to install?
  • How basic dueling of other duelists work? --184.96.216.174 (talk) 05:18, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

It's free. Just go to the website, get an account and download. I'm not telling you how to use it though. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 18:00, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

things ya gotta learn about yugioh is to analyze your opponents deck and check there strategy, take things slow and calm, and u can bluff just like with poker but keep a poker face and most importantly know ur rulings to avoid any kinda arguement learn and master all of that and u can go to tornaments :DRaiga (talkcontribs) 08:50, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

What? Bluffing means you're relying on luck to win. Luck doesn't mean skill, and it takes skill to win a tournament. As for playing in tournaments, either try YVD for a little while, or if you join one you could see what you're up against. Drew-Gi-Oh! (talkcontribs) 18:11, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

ppfftttt u obviously dont know bout the game then yugiohs all about luck either ur next draw can be amazing or itll suck and ull lose Raiga (talkcontribs) 19:44, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

That's probably in draws and dice rolls for luck. And bluffing isn't a good thing because it doesn't show honesty in the card game especially if you set all spells and traps at once. Try to do what Yusei do and said: Adapt. Try to adapt in situations that you are stuck in and don't stick to random strategies. Think it over before you end your turn. What, you want to win with honor in a card game? Bluffing is a useful thing to do. Runer5h (talkcontribs) 19:52, July 26, 2010 (UTC)Runer5h

I agree. Setting cards like Ceremonial Water Mirror of Ritua or Miracle Synchro Fusion as decoys can mess with your opponent's strategy, cause them to misplay, or force them to waste valuble resources.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 20:49, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah but if you set your spell cards, I'm pretty sure they are going to blow your set cards away. It might not be worth setting them unless they are quick spells. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 23:08, July 26, 2010 (UTC)

fallen think about it on avarage theres about 40 cards in a deck and most if not all people play heavy storm cuz its such a usefull card so like akiza said just bluff cards and the chances of it getting it destroyed on avarage are 1 out of 40 cards unless of course the opponents running specialised cards like bestiari or anything else that kills the backrow its always good to bluff here and there but not too much or they'll find out Raiga (talkcontribs) 04:13, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

I still prefer not to use such tactics. Even if they do waste a Heavy Storm/MST/Dust Tornado on them, like you said, you never know what you'll draw next turn: and the card that was just blown away might have been the card you would have needed. By the way, I do know alot about the game. Drew-Gi-Oh! (talkcontribs) 04:22, July 27, 2010 (UTC)

So does everyone else man, so does everyone else. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 17:03, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
