I got 2 questions. 1. What will happen if I Riryoku and select a monster whose effect being unaffected by spells? 2. Can I activate a spell that targets (Shrink) while the only available target is unaffected by spells? — This unsigned comment was made by F Fear (talk • contribs) 15:08, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
- You can target monsters that are Unaffected by Spell Cards but the effect of the spell card disappears when the card resolves. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 15:54, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
Riryoku
So Riryoku actually got nullified? Or, it still effect the other target?
Why didn't it work like Snatch Steal?
And how about Ring of Magnetism. — This unsigned comment was made by F Fear (talk • contribs) 09:35, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- The effect of Riryoku completely disappears. I can't understand what do you mean with Snatch Steal and Ring of Magnetism. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 13:06, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Snatch Steal & Ring of Magnetism
I thought we still gain Life Points?
And how about equipping Ring of Magnetism to Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6?
- 1) Gaining LP doesn't have to do something with the monster. So it resolves normally. But the changing the monster's control doe's have to do with the monster, so (since the monster is unaffected) it doesn't switch.
- 2)Again, the monster's ATK doesn't change since that part of Ring of Magnetism's effect involves the monster, and the other effect of Ring of Magnetism applies because it does nothing to the monster. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 16:44, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks
Oh, thanks. You're awesome. =O — This unsigned comment was made by F Fear (talk • contribs) 02:23, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks man. Also remember that monsters that are Unaffected by Spell Cards, are unaffected by their "effects" not their "costs". For example, they can be trbuted by Enemy Controller to take control of an opponent's monster, since "Tribute 1 monster" is the cost to activate Enemy Controller.
