Forum:Vanilla Beatdown Deck ( help please )

Trying to make a Vanilla Swarm Deck...

First of all I have a few reasons for wanting to try to make such a deck.
1) They have lots of support cards!
2) Skill Drain !!
3) Blue-Eyes White Dragon is a classic...
4) and I have had this: Burst Stream of Destruction for ages now!

But, every time I try another version of this deck idea it has reliability issues.
I can surpress monster effects, I can swarm to a degree, I can draw.
However, I can't seem to do it all and make the deck consistent.

Here is the current attempt:
(Sorry I forget how to make a deck template)

Monsters:
3x Blue-Eyes White Dragon
2x Summoned Skull
3x Gemini Elf
3x Vorse Raider
2x Gene-Warped Warwolf
3x Rose Warrior of Revenge
4x Various level 4, 1900 atk monsters (wish I had more 2k attackers!)

Spells:
3x Heart of the Underdog
2x Dark World Grimoire
1x Lightning Vortex
2x Swing of Memories
1x Monster Reborn

Traps:
3x Skill Drain
2x Dark Horn of Heaven
2x Compulsory Evacuation Device
3x Dark Bribe
1x Solemn Judgment

So, that is the deck. The deck also tries to summon: Stardust Dragon
He is for anti-destruction purposes and he works under Skill Drain !
The main strategy is: load up my hand and "abuse" Dark World Grimoire.
I open to all suggestions. Thanks gang.

Hi this is one I think will help you a bit, it is not a strict Vanilla deck however it has consistency whilst also not including cards that lose out to Skill Drain as most of the cards included with effects activate in the Graveyard etc.
Monsters: 20
3x Blue-Eyes White Dragon
2x Red-eyes B. Dragon
1x Meteor Dragon
1x Summoned Skull
3x The White Stone of Legend
3x Rose, Warrior of Revenge
3x Alexandrite Dragon
3x Eclipse Wyvern
1x King of the Swamp

Spells: 10
3x Cards of Consonance
2x Polymerization
1x Burst Stream of Destruction
1x Dragons Mirror
1x Monster Reborn
1x Pot of Avarice
1x Precious Cards from Beyond

Traps: 10
2x Skill Drain
2x Black Horn of Heaven
1x Compulsory Evacuation Device
3x Dark Bribe
1x Solemn Judgment
1x Ultimate Offering

Extra deck
Stardust dragon
Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon
Five Headed Dragon
Meteor Black Dragon
Black Skull Dragon

If you want to add versatility for matches add a variant with Xyz monsters and dropping Skill Drain just so you can change it up if you wanted too.

Meteor Dragon & Meteor Black Dragon both come out in 2012 Premium Collection Tin in March
Eclipse Wyvern comes out in Structure Deck: Dragons Collide

all of the above actually. Meteor...im sure I can get. The others... I'm not spending any money on new cards at the moment.. although the idea is tempting.
