Forum:Who is right?? Help here!

Having problems in a middle of a duel here. Any help is appreciated.

Problem 1: My opponent activate Brain Control on my Yubel - The Ultimate Nightmare. Then i chain with Dark Illusion to negate the effect of Brain Control. Thats chain 2. My opponent then chain with the 4th effect of Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins to negate the activation of my Dark Illusion. I then activate my 2nd Dark Illusion. Does that starts a new chain or continue the previous chain to make it chain 4?

Problem 2: After the activation of my 2nd Dark Illusion, My opponent chain again with the 4th effect of Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins yet again. So i activate mystical space typhoon to destroy the field card. Will the effect of Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins resolves?

Problem 3: If it does resolves, the Cost to activate the 4th effect of Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins is negated, will the cost for the card return back to the spell/trap zones? Or will it return back the 1st one which is to negate my first Dark Illusion or will it return my opponent's 2nd card which is to negate my 2nd Dark Illusion that were send to the grave by the effect of the field card? Will it return both of the card's cost? Or will it not return any?

You opponent cannot chain Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins to Dark Illusion the only thing you can chain to a counter trap is another counter trap. For the Second problem MST wont work on Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins if they have at least one Crystal Beast. As for the third problem the if a card is negated you do not get the cost back (and FYI the Crystal Beast sent to the grave for the forth effect of Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins has to be a monster not a spell).Skavinger 16:34, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
