Hello everyone! :)

I don't own a Nintendo Wii (just an Xbox 360) and this game has really caught my interest. For those of you that own this game, could you please help me? Thank you very much for your assistance regarding this matter, I really appreciate them.

(1)Does it have issues scanning TCG cards?

(2)Is it true that the "card scanner" doesn't detect promotional cards like "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" (JMP-EN005)?

(3)Can you use the "card scanner" to "scan" ALL of your TCG cards and save it (thus, creating your dueling deck from here) or are you required to "scan" your TCG cards everytime you turn the Nintendo Wii off?

(4)Does the game receive updates for the current cards so that you can use them too? I know that it is supposed to be able to download the latest "Card Banned List" (which is so cool!), so it only makes sense that it should be able to do this too.

(5)Considering that I don't own a Nintendo Wii (just an Xbox 360), as an owner of this game, do you think it is worth the investment or should I just stick with buying the TCG cards and buying Xbox 360 games (because this is the only "Wii" game that I'm interested in)?

Well, I didn't get a scanner with my copy, so i have no idea..., as for if you should buy a Wii "just for this game", nah, it's not worth £180, seeing as most yugioh games are pretty much the same.

The scanner feature was left out of the game because Konami wanted to perfect it before releasing it to the public. The game has all the cards from sets up to Starstrike Blast (OCG), Absolute Powerforce (TCG), Duel Terminal 10 (OCG), and various promo sets, and offers no sort of feature that allows you to download any new cards. What you get is what you get. It's definitely not worth buying a Wii just to play. Izen75 (talkcontribs) 12:13, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
