Anyone got any stories to tell? I haven't been to a locals before, the closest is too far away. However, I do go to regionals, in fact last time was my first. I did pretty well, and plan on going again in January. So, how far have you guys gotten? Have you ever been qualified to-dare I ask-the world championship? Your coolest/easiest/hardest win there? Sorry if there's another thread like this.24.5.249.73 (talk) 23:35, November 18, 2010 (UTC)

just went to a regional in november and placed like top 50. the easiest win was when some guy dropped out and i got the win. I also plan to go to another one in january--bwinggale(talkcontribs) 00:43, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

To be honest "locals" and upper division tournaments are much different. There are certain expectations at these tournaments. You are held more accountable for your actions, card rulings, deck sleeves, playing speed, & game knowledge in the upper division tournaments. Don't be surprised if you recieve "warnings", just be sure to declare when you need to and you'll be fine. Some players will attempt to "stack" or conceal information. I played someone at Shonen Jump who wouldn't let me see his graveyard or know how many cards in his hand. He got caught and know can't play in any konami tournaments till 2013. Lol. I can't even go to locals or regionals. Both are way too far away from where I live. The closest thing to locals is nearly 20 miles away, while all regionals are out of state. --184.96.249.84 (talk) 01:48, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

your lucky team DKF isnt there at my locals there always there and they pay off the judge whos a fatass named sam so that he will fuck up the bracket and get you disqualified somehow they do the same at regionals
