I'm slightly stuck on how to use these cards correctly.
I have lvl 4 zombie type monsters in my graveyard. I play zombie master and activate its effect. I choose regenerating mummy to be discarded. Now can I special summon the same monster I discarded to the graveyard? So I used regenerating mummy for the effect to work then I special summom it.
Same question for Fossil Excavation. If I discard say ultimate tyranno once I activate the trap, can I then special summon the same card I discarded, ultimate tyranno?

As long as a valid target was there beforehand, you can revive the discarded monster, as the monster you revive is selected after you pay the cost. Jet-Black Nova (talk • contribs) 19:09, August 16, 2013 (UTC)
