* This card has the exact same 's effect as is identical to those of "[[Crimson Ninja]]" and "[[Trap Master]]". Also, all three cards have odd-valued [[Level]]s ("Ninja"'s being 1, "Trap Master"'s being 3 and this card's being 5.)
* This card was among the first 5 ''TCG'' cards ever released to have an effect. The other 4 were "[[Exodia the Forbidden One]]", "[[Armed Ninja]]", "[[Man-Eater Bug]]", and "[[Hane-Hane]]".
* This monster appears in the artwork of "[[Double Tribute]]".
