** This helps add monsters to your Graveyard to activate Pot of Avarice much easier.
* This card works great with [[Dragunity Dux]]. Normal Summon Dux and fetch this card from the Graveyard, then you can use Phalanx's effect to Special Summon itself for an instant Level 6 Synchro[[Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana]]. When this is synchro summoned, equip a [[Dragunity Phalanx]] to it, making an instant level 8 synchro.
* Equip this card to [[Dragunity Arma Leyvaten]] when it's summoned, special summon it for it's effect, and you have a total of level 10 for an easy [[Trident Dragion]].
