In the anime, this archetype is meant to support Bronk's monsters, and it is worthy to be mentioned that fans sometimes refer to Bronk's monsters ("[[Tinplate Goldfish]]", "[[Tinplate Archduke]]", and "[[Aye-Iron]]") as "[[Wind-Up]]" knock-offs", and the OCG name for the "Wind-Up" archetype happens to be "Mainspring".
