* On the Italian prints of "[[Froggy Forcefield]]", "[[Substitoad]]" and "[[Unifrog]]" in ''[[Light of Destruction]]''; "[[Swap Frog]]" in ''[[Stardust Overdrive]]''; and "[[Ronintoadin]]" in ''[[The Shining Darkness]]''; it is specifically excluded from effects that affect "Frog" cards under the name "'''Rana la Poltiglia'''". On the Italian prints of "[[Dupe Frog]]" and "[[Flip Flop Frog]]" in ''[[Crimson Crisis]]'', it is excluded under the name "'''Rana Poltiglia'''". Despite this, this card was not printed in Italian until ''[[OTS Tournament Pack 3]]'', under a different name that makes it clear it is not a member of the "Frog" archetype.
 
* The Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME: Updated Card Names documents each specify that this card was renamed in French, German, Italian, and Spanish. However, it has only ever been printed under the supposedly new name in all of those languages.
** In French, the [http://www.yugioh-card.com/ygo_cms/ygo/all/uploads/Updated-Card-Names-French.pdf Mise à jour des textes de cartes] document states that this card was renamed "Grenouille, la Bave" from to "Crapaud Slime".
** In German, the [http://www.yugioh-card.com/ygo_cms/ygo/all/uploads/Updated-Card-Names-German.pdf Aktualisierter Kartentext] document states that this card was renamed from "Schleimfrosch" to "Schleimkröte".
** In Italian, the [http://www.yugioh-card.com/ygo_cms/ygo/all/uploads/Updated-Card-Names-Italian.pdf Aggiornamenti testo carte - Italian] document states that this card was renamed from "Rana la Poltiglia" to "Rospo Melma".
** In Spanish, the [http://www.yugioh-card.com/ygo_cms/ygo/all/uploads/Updated-Card-Names-Spanish.pdf Textos de Carta Actualizados] document states that this card was renamed from "Rana la Poltiglia" to "Sapo Viscoso".
