'''"Xyz"''' (エクシーズ ''Ekushīzu'') is an [[archetype]] of that [[support]] s [[Xyz Monster]]sused by most characters from the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL]]'' anime and [[Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL (manga)|manga]]. They originally made their debut in ''[[Starter Deck 2011]]'' and received their own first support in ''[[Return of the Duelist]]''. Most Xyz cards have effects that either increase the ATK and DEF of the Xyz Monster, benefit the player if they control a Xyz Monster or can transform themselves into Xyz Materials for your Xyz Monsters. Most of these effects are only active if a Xyz Monster is on the field. The only support for the archetype, [[Generation Force (card)|Generation Force]], can only be activated if the player controls a Xyz Monster. They have their sub-archetype; [[Chaos Xyz]].
