What I meant with Wind-Ups being near death is they barely did anything in TCG (won a few tournaments with the surprise factor), and the thing that allowed them to do that got hit pretty badly.<br>
As for Lavals, the Quasar decks aren't as good as the non Quasar decks from what I've heard, they're less consistent and it takes up so much extra deck space while putting you in the mindset that all you can do is summon Quasar.<br>
And as for Plants, they don't really need much more. Plants were still T1(ish) with pretty much the same cards except 1 Debris Dragon, 3 Tengu and GUB unbanned. Tengu can (probably) be replaced and GUB can be replaced by Naturia Cherries (albeit worse).<br>
