I think this is perhaps one of the more interesting banlists. No one could be surprised about sixth sense getting banned. And even with the dragons limited, return from the different dimension is still ridiculously powerful.
I always believed that if BLS is at one, Chaos sorcerer should be at two, since who's going to use chaos sorcerer over BLS? And the unbanning of magician of faith is going to be very interesting... Just a little sad monster reborn didn't get unbanned though... == Don't Count Out the Dragon Rulers ==
Guys, I wouldn't count out the Dragon Rulers just yet. I just read on Facebook about a little tournament held on Dueling Network earlier today (just a casual tourney, though), and using the new January list. And Dragon Rulers made it to 4th place. Apparently the user went with a Turbo version of Dragon Rulers, maxing out on stuff like [[Dragon Shrine]], [[Upstart Goblin]], [[Trade-In]], [[Dragoncarnation]], [[Cards of Consonance]] and [[Sacred Sword of Seven Stars]]. And I believe he also included the Blue-Eyes engine (BEWD, Maiden and White Stone), plus the [[Mythic Dragon]]s. There are also some new Youtube videos showing new Dragon Ruler builds for the Jan format, mostly including the BEWD engine and the Mythic Dragons, plus one using a Hieratic build. So yeah, Rulers are not dead yet.
