* This monster appears to be a corrupted form of "[[Gem-Knight Crystal]]", with parts of "[[Gem-Knight Zirconia]]" (right arm and left leg), "[[Gem-Knight Master Diamond]]" (left arm and right leg), and "[[Gem-Knight Prismaura]]" (damaged head) grafted onto its body. The monster has the same stats as "Crystal".
** Interestingly enough, this could mean this is animated by the [[lswarm]] virus, which mutates into the [[Shaddoll]] virus.
* This monster derive its name from [[wikipedia:Smoky_quartz#Cairngorm|cairngorm]], a variety of smoky quartz crystal found in the [[wikipedia:Cairn_Gorm|Cairn Gorm]] Mountains of Scotland.
