'''Egyptian God Phoenix''' (or "[[The Winged Dragon of Ra|The Winged Dragon of Ra's]]" "Phoenix Mode") is one of three forms of "[[The Winged Dragon of Ra]]" which the latter can transform itself into at the [[costs|cost]] of 1000 [[Life Points]] if [[Special Summon]]ed from the [[Graveyard]]. In this form, neither "[[The Winged Dragon of Ra]]" nor its [[control]]ler receive cannot be removed from he field except by it's own effect during the [[Damage#Battle Damage|Battle DamageEnd Phase]]. It (a Divine-Beast is reasonable sent to say that while in this mode, "the Graveyard at the end of the turn it is [[The Winged Dragon of RaSpecial Summon]]" is effectively "immortal" since an Egyptian God is also immune to most card effectsed in the Anime).

The most well-known effect of "[[The Winged Dragon of Ra|The Winged Dragon of Ra's]]" Phoenix Mode is that any monster that battles with it will immediately be destroyed at the end of the without even applying [[Damage StepCalculation]] (note: thanks to Ra's [[Instant Attack]] ability, this allows Phoenix to attack and destroy all the opponent's monsters). This effect was used by [[Marik Ishtar]] during his battles with [[Joey Wheeler]] (to destroy Joey's "[[Gilford the Lightning]]" in [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 127|Ep.127]]) and [[Yugi Muto]] (to destroy Yugi's "[[Slifer the Sky Dragon]]" in [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 139|Ep.139]]and again in a failed attempt to destroy his [[Obelisk the Tormentor]] in [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 141|Ep.141).
