Leo, finding the [[Lancers]] (led by Declan) and Yuya as threat to his Arc Area Project, decided to send the [[Gloria Tyler|Tyler]] [[Grace Tyler|sisters]] to the Xyz Dimension in order to eliminate them<ref name="ep106" /> as well as the [[Obelisk Force]] as insurance.<ref name="ep108">{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V|108|ref}}</ref>
Ultimately as a result of the invasion of the other Dimensions and the intervention of the Lancers, the Arc Area Project inadvertently, ended up causing the resurrection of the Demon Duelist [[Zarc]] and put all Dimensions in danger of destruction, but at the same time the Lancers and [[Ray]]'s opposition towards Zarc, prevented this outcome and caused the re-creation of the Standard Dimension as the Pendulum Dimension, while Zarc's soul was sealed into [[Riley Akaba]] but at the cost of returning her as a catatonic infant.
Since Riley needed to "regain her smile" in order to permanently purify Zarc's soul, Yuya was forced to duel several of his former allies in order to improve his [[Dueltainment]] as it was the only key to restore Riley's "smile". Eventually Yuya faced Declan in a final duel to test his aptitude to become a pro. Yuya succeeded in defeating Declan which in turn restored Riley's smile and by proxy pacify the souls of both Zarc and Ray. Yuya's victory also caused the four dimensions to begin merging back into one dimension.
Due to the merging of the dimensions into a single dimension, and the threat of Zarc stopped permanently, it can be concluded that the Arc Area Project was, albeit indirectly, a thorough success.
