* "Cyber-Stein" and its Japanese name meaning "Devil Franken" are both named after Frankenstein. In the novel, Victor Frankenstein revives a dead body comprised of body parts from several different bodies, much in the same way Fusion Monsters are comprised of Fusion Material monsters, explaining why Cyber-Stein summons Fusion Monsters. However, it should be noted that the monster is not called Frankenstein, rather its creator. This common mistake is probably one of the biggest misunderstandings of the Gothic genre, if not the entirety of literature itself.
* Before Upperdeck Day only 18 of the SJC-EN001 card exist in the world. $20,000 USD was bid for a "Cyber-Stein" SJC-EN001 card on ebay, but the bidder didn't pay. The card was eventually resold for approximately $7,000 USD.
