* This is one of the two "[[Dark World]]" monsters which is a [[Normal Monster]]. The other one is "[[Renge, Gatekeeper of Dark World]]".
* This card's flavor text hints that this monster, and even "[[Dark World]]" Monsters in general, are not entirely evil (if at all), and are only stereotyped by other creatures due to their appearance and [[Attribute]]. In the anime, however, [[Zure, Knight of Dark World (character)|he]] and other "Dark World" monsters are portrayed as evil.
* "Zure" is perhaps the Dark World color pun on the bluish shade, Azure (shortened by dropping the letter "A" in the beginning.)
** This is supported with this card's artwork. The card's background is predominantly blue and "Zure" himself has a blue orb on his chest. There are also bluish shades on his sword, cape and parts of his skeletal armor-like body.
