* Use this card in a "[[Sylvan]]" Deck: The Deck generally doesn't have cards that search for other cards; instead, it has cards that put them [[Sylvan Flowerknight|on the top of the Deck]] and that [[Sylvan Hermitree|rearrange]] them, so this card will not harm the Deck while may stop entire opposing strategies from working, such as one of the aforementioned Decks.
* This card works well in a "[[Rokket]]" Deck, since it mostly focuses on destroying "Rokkets" and Special Summoning more of them from the Deck. Use this card with "[[Supply Squad]]" to give yourself a powerful [[Draw Engine]].
* This card, combined with "[[Dewloren, Tiger King of the Ice Barrier]]", can be used to restrict only your opponent from adding cards from their Deck to their hand. Similar results can be obtained with "[[Mist Valley]]" cards and "[[Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite]]".
