* "Heavy Storm" is a [[Staple]] card that works well in almost any deck. Save it for emergencies or use it to get rid of your own Spells and Traps; most useful with cards such as "[[Gravity Bind]]", "[[Clock Tower Prison]]" and "[[Geartown]]".
* Make way for your move with this card.
* In an "[[Amazoness]]" Deck, combo this card with "[[Amazoness Empress]]" to protect your Spell/Trap cards, while destroying your opponent's.
* In a "[[Red-Eyes]]" Deck, you can use this card to destroy any copies "[[Black Metal Dragon]]" and/or "[[Red-Eyes Baby Dragon]]" in your backrow to search "[[Red-Eyes]]" cards and add any Level 1 [[Dragon|Dragons]] to your hand.
* This card is quite deadly in an "[[Artifact]]" Deck, since their Main Deck monsters can be Set in your backrow and benefit from being destroyed by card effects.
