Reggie and [[David Rabb]] visited the [[Duel Academy|Japanese Duel Academy]] as transfer students from the [[American Duel Academy]]. They traveled to the island with [[Zane Truesdale (manga)|Zane Truesdale]], who had been a Japanese transfer student at their school. On arrival, she remarked that the island was more impressive than in the photos and that she was looking forward to seeing the skill of the local Duelists.<ref name="cpt 16">{{chapter|Yu-Gi-Oh! GX|16|ref}}</ref>
When [[Chancellor Sheppard (manga)|Chancellor Sheppard]] announced that the Japanese academy would be hosting the [[Zane Truesdale homecoming tournament|a tournament]] in celebration of Zane's return, where the winner would face Zane in a Duel, David and Reggie requested permission to participate. Reggie explained that they wanted to get acquainted with the Japanese students through Dueling. She teased David's hopes of being the one to face Zane, saying that she would the one who wins that opportunity. <ref name="cpt 16" />
Reggie's first major opponent in the tournament is [[Alexis Rhodes (manga)|Alexis Rhodes]] whom she effortlessly defeats. She later questions Alexis about [[Jaden Yuki (manga)|Jaden Yuki]], seeming to be interested in his ability to see [[Spirit Partners|Duel Spirits]]. Towards the end of the tournament, she is defeated by [[Bastion Misawa (manga)|Bastion Misawa]], although she could have won with the cards in her hand.
