GX]]'' anime that [[support]]s the "[[Crystal Beast]]" archetype. This archetype is a sub-archetype of the "[[Crystal]]" archetype.
"[[Rainbow Dragon]]" and "[[Rainbow Dark Dragon]]" are both All members of this archetype, but their only have names only that reflect this their membership in the ''OCG''. The archetype used to be unnamed in the ''TCG'', and support for it instead specified both of them "[[Rainbow Dragon]]" and "[[Rainbow Dark Dragon]]", its only two members at the time, by name. When "[[Rainbow Overdragon]]", another member of this archetype, was released in the ''TCG'' after exactly ten years, the first two members were given an [[archetype condition]] to finally resolve the issue once for all. All support for the archetype subsequently received errata to directly support the archetype (except "[[Rainbow Path]]", but since it only affects monsters in the Main Deck, it could not search "Overdragon" anyway).
