* In the anime and manga, this card this not require a [[pay]]ment of 2000 [[Life Points]] to remain on the [[Playing Field|Field]]. [[Monster Cards|Monsters]] did not lose their attack points until they actually attacked, at which point this card also [[negate]]d the attack.
* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 029|episode 29]], [[Mai Valentine]] played this card against [[Yami Yugi]]. She [[activate]]s it when Yugi attacks with his "[[Gaia the Fierce Knight]].". This lets her "[[Cyber Shield]]"-[[equip]]ped "[[Harpie Lady]]" [[destroy]] it on her next turn. Unaware that this card remained on the Field, Yugi attacks with "[[Summoned Skull]]" on his next turn, and it is destroyed a few turns later by "[[Harpie's Pet Dragon]]". Yugi attempts to play defensively, but Mai uses "[[Shadow of Eyes]]" to force "[[Dark Magician]]" into [[Attack Position]]as well as force it to attack causing this card's effect to activate in response, letting "Harpie's Pet Dragon" destroy itshortly after. In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 030|the next episode]], Yugi destroys this card by [[Tribute|Tributing]] "[[Harpie's Pet Dragon]]" with "[[Catapult Turtle]]" after taking [[control]] of the former with "[[Brain Control]]".
* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 044|episode 44]], Mai plays this card against [[Joey Wheeler]] in [[Legendary Heroes|the Virtual World]]. She stops the attack of his "[[Flame Swordsman]]".
* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 090|episode 90]], Mai plays this card against [[Yami Marik]]. It halves the attack of his "[[Masked Beast Des Gardius]]", letting her "[[Dunames Dark Witch]]" destroy it. Marik later destroys this card with "[[Remove Trap]]".
* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 102|episode 102]], [[Crump]] [[Set]]s this card. It is destroyed before activation by [[Téa Gardner]]'s "[[Mystical Space Typhoon]]", but Crump used the destruction of this card to activate "[[Driving Snow]]" which destroyed Téa's set "[[Mirror Force]]". When Téa is selecting her [[Main Deck|Deck]] earlier in the episode, this card is among the cards seen, though she does not select it.
* In [[Yu-Gi-Oh! - Episode 152|episode 152]], Mai plays this card against a duelist in the finals of a tournament in a flashback. The opponent attacks with his "[[Tri-Horned Dragon]]", and this card stops the attack. Her opponent uses "[[Rush Recklessly]]" in an attempt to destroy her "Harpie Lady", but Mai activates "[[Fairy's Hand Mirror]]" to transfer the attack bonus to "Harpie Lady", who destroys "Tri-Horned Dragon".
