* Yugi switches out the rope necklace on the puzzle for a stronger chain, fearing for its safety.
* Bandit Keith did not appear in the original manga after Duelist Kingdom.(He died in the Duelist Kingdom arc and revived in the [[Yu-giGi-oh Oh! R]] manga) This episode was used to help with plot holes that the ''Dungeon Dice Monsters'' episodes left, as it did not follow the manga exactly.
