'''Princess Rose''' is a representative selected by [[Sartorius]] to Duel [[Jaden Yuki|Jaden]] in his place. A fan of the classic fairy tale "The Frog Prince", she claims to have the ability to see Duel Monster spirits (manifested as three "princes" named Jeffrey, Roosevelt and Percival in the English dub), but others do not believe her. Jaden, however, notices the spirit of a frog prince watching over her after their duel.
Rose and Jaden's Duel would decide the Duel Academy's Class trip location, with Jaden choosing [[Domino City]]. Sartorius was unsure whether Rose would win or not, but he knew that Domino City would have been the location, and at the end of the duel he declared that Jaden's victory didn't change the destiny he foretold, either impling that Rose's choice for the location would have been Domino City as well, or that Sartorius instructed her to choose that location.
In the original version, Rose is very sophisticated and polite, speaking like a true princess. In the English dub, Rose speaks with a stereotypical Valley Girl accent, using terms such as "diva", "whateve", and "not!".
