During their [[Main Phase]], the [[turn player]] can Xyz Summon an [[Xyz Monster]] from their [[Extra Deck]] by stacking two or more [[face-up]] monsters from their field with the same [[Level]] as the Xyz Monster's printed [[Rank]], that meet the listed requirements for its [[Xyz Material]]s. After that, the player [[Special Summon]]s the Xyz Monster from the [[Extra Deck]] [[face-up]] to an unoccupied [[Main Monster Zone|Main]] or [[Extra Monster Zone]], and places the stacked Xyz Materials underneath that Xyz Monster.
Monsters that do not have Levels, such as Xyz Monsters and Link Monsters, cannot normally be used as Xyz Materials for an Xyz Summon. However, some Xyz Monsters (e.g. "[[Number F0: Utopic Future]]") specifically list Xyz Monsters as materials, in which case they can use Xyz Monsters as material. Unless specified otherwise, Xyz Materials of an Xyz Monster(s) that were used as a material for an Xyz Summon will be sent to the [[Graveyard]]. [[Token Monster]]s cannot be used as Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon, because they cannot be attached as Xyz Materials due to not existing outside of the field.
Even if all of its controller's Monster Zones are occupied, an Xyz Monster can still be Xyz Summoned as long as at least one of the Xyz Materials used is in one of these zones, so that there is an available zone when the Xyz Monster is Summoned.
