In the ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! R]]'' manga, the "[[Wicked God]]s" are considered as DIVINE, but when they were released in real life, they had their Attribute changed to [[DARK]], making them then-tournament Legal.
Besides the "Wicked Gods" and the "Egyptian Gods", in episode 117 of ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's]]'' an introduction to the Three "[[Aesir]]" was made, these being the first DIVINE Attribute [[Synchro Monster]]s ever seen. All of them are properties to the members of [[Team Ragnarok]]. However, in the TCG/OCG and the English Anime, their Attributes were changed: "[[Thor, Lord of the Aesir|Thor]]" was changed to be [[EARTH]], "[[Loki, Lord of the Aesir|Loki]]" was changed to be [[DARK]], and "[[Odin, Father of the Aesir|Odin]]" was changed to be [[LIGHT]]. Also, while the "Aesir" were DIVINE Monsters, all of the card cards that gave direct support to Aesir actually gave support to the DIVINE Attribute.
