'''Negative Levels''' are a new concept in the [[Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's]] anime, and are used exclusively on the new [[Dark Synchro Monsters]]. So far, the only known card with Negative Levels is "[[Freezing Fitzgerald]]". This effect cannot be replicated with card effects that would lower a monster level to 0 or lower.
They are represented by [[Image:NegStar.png|Negative Level Star]], which alligns to the left of the card, whereas positive Level Stars alligned to the right.
