In the anime, he is known for insisting a duel continue regardless of the situation. (Of course, this was due to KaibaCorp regalations) This was continuing joke throughout the series. Often, he would continue talking about the duel, when there were bigger issues at hand. Though, [[Tristan Taylor]] and [[Joey Wheeler]] were aggravated due to this.
He also appears in ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh! GX]]'' series during [[Jaden Yuki|Jaden]]'s flashback of one KaibaCorp card illustration project.<ref>{{episode|Yu-Gi-Oh! GX|62|ref}}</ref>
