**An even better variant is "[[Dragon Shield]]", as this card is having a primarily defensive function, so the destruction lockdown that most other users would suffer along with the opponent is avoided, as it has a too low attack to be used offensively in the first place. Don't forget that "[[Golem Dragon]]" hasn't any way to protect either of these cards itself, through. Thus cards like "[[Fake Trap]]" and "[[Magic Reflector]]" as well as "[[White Dragon Ninja]]" and "[[Armed Divine Dragon - Protect Dragon]]" are always welcome.
* You can combo this card with "[[Spear Dragon]]" allowing it to be protected until your next turn.
