* This card can be searched via "Terraforming", "Demise of the Land" and "An Owl of Luck".
* You can handicap your opponent by Summoning Monsters to his side of the field. However, you may need to use "[[Mask of Restrict]]" to stop your opponent simply using them as Tribute them before the effects are applied. Some examples include:
** "[[Lava Golem]]" will inflict 1000 burn damage, and will cause "Clear World" to inflict a further 1000.
** "[[Grinder Golem]]", "[[Destiny Hero - Departed]]" "[[D.D. Guide]]" [[Nightmare Archfiends]] and "[[Revival Gift]]" can prevent your opponent from attacking.
** But keep in mind, [[Mask of Restrict]] does not hinder Fusion Summoning, Synchro Summoning, or Xyz Summoning.
* Alternately, you can give your opponent control of a monster with cards like "[[Creature Swap]]" or "[[Give and Take]]".
* There is currently only one monster of the "[[Clear]]" archetype that has been released, so it is (almost) inevitable that you will be handicapped by at least one of this card's effects, until you Summon "[[Clear Vice Dragon]]" to your field and drop all of the effects. It is clearly advantageous to build a deck using monsters of the same attribute so you have only one handicap to deal with, allowing you to devise a strategy to minimize the impact and dangers of this card upon yourself.
**For example, if you are using [[DARK]] monsters, your attacking options will be restricted, so you can play this card in a deck that centers its strategy on Summoning a powerful dark monster that flies solo. A good example is any [[Earthbound Immortal]] monster.
**Or, you may wish to use an alternate win condition such as "[[Exodia]]" or [[Burn]]. The burn strategy can use DARK monsters such as "[[Stealth Bird]], "[[Nurse Reficule the Fallen One]]", "[[Shadowpriestess of Ohm]]", "[[Reactor]]s" and "[[Cannon Soldier]]".
**Alternatively, use [[EARTH]] monsters and either:
***a) keep them in ATK position with plenty of cards preventing battle damage and/or destruction by battle, or
***b) use monsters whose effects activates when they are in the Graveyard.
**Another option is to to use this card with [[LIGHT]] monsters, as you only have to play with your [[hand]] revealed.
* Summon "[[Prime Material Dragon]]" and use "Scroll of Bewitchment" to make it a [[FIRE]] monster. Then use a deck of FIRE monsters.
** You can also use "DNA Transplant" to your advantage with this card. (Ex: Makeing "[[Fabled]]" and "[[Infernity]]" monsters [[WATER]] monsters to speed up the Deck.)
* "[[Earthbound Immortal]]s" are perfect for this card. If you control only 1 monster and that monster is an "Earthbound Immortal", you will be completely unaffected by this card.
** "[[Malefic]]" monsters have the same advantage.
