* This cards name comes from the type of storm known as a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blizzard Blizzard] a type of severe snowstorm hence the "Far North (North Pole in OCG)" portion of the name.
* In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, when this monster was summoned by [[Crow]] during a duel, this card sat on his duel disk, and knocked on his graveyard, to call a [[Blackwing]], like some other birds do.
