* Even if you chain it to Life Point boosting cards, you can't get anything other than a Draw from this card, so be sure that you use it only if you expect to lose.
* You may easily activate this card by using "[[Wall of Revealing Light]]". You'll decrease to 1000 LPs, during your opponent's 1st turn, thus enabling the condition of this card, causing a DRAW immediately.
* In a "[[The Six Samurai|Six Samurai]]" Deck, use this card with "[[Backs to the Wall]]".
* You can use the card "[[The Eye of Truth]]" to give your opponent life Life points making this card a little safer to use as you won't need to be at critical life points to activate it.
* The various video games occasionally challenge the player to get a draw instead of winning or losing. "Self-Destruct Button " is generally the easiest way of doing that.
* Use the effect of "[[Inspection]]" multiple times during your opponent's [[Standby Phase]] to reduce your Life Points to a sufficient amount.
