Can you discard electric virus at your opponent battle phase to take control of one of their monsters??

It's classified as a Worm because its Japanese name contains "Wāmu" which means "worm." What I wonder is whether or not a card that supports the "Worm" archtype also supports this card in the English version, because it lacks "worm" in its card name.
