Wow! This card is almost invincible!--Blueyeyesawesomedragon 04:23, 7 February 2009 (UTC)

Definitely not as good as the show made it out to be. First, you need all the pieces of Exodia, a feat which is pretty devastating. Second, a simple Soul Release would destroy Exodia Necross, and third...it'd take a while to power it up anyway.darthbob100 22:18, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Soul Release? Hell, Exiled Force, Compulsory Evacuation Device, Dark Core, or Raiza would do it! The card is actually kind of underpowered. Runer5h 01:48, 11 July 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

You practicly have to use Necrovalley to protect it as a simple Monster Reborn can kill it. It can also be removed from play or returned to the hand. They really should release an upgraded from of this card. Having it self-destruct from just 1 exodia piece being removed from the grave is to much of a handy cap.--71.199.47.18 02:30, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

hm....wud keep ur opponent busy 4 a while....but shudnt be ur main source of power, tha effect can REALLY help u cuz of many annoyin effects, spells, and traps, but have another strategy ready =) - obviously preferable in an Exodia Deck

Modern text style[edit]

Is it okay to change the effect's text to the current style: like 'Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned by "..." and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. etc'?OrbAdventures (talkcontribs) 08:23, May 21, 2013 (UTC)

I appreciate the fact that you asked before editing the page. Unfortunately no. We always go by the latest errata a card has, even if that errata is very old. This is to avoid confusion from people who may think a card has a reprint when it actually doesn't. And of course, because it isn't true that any real copy of that "old" card has that effect text. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 08:26, May 21, 2013 (UTC)
