- No, discarding the 5 cards is considered a cost. Costs aren't part of a card's effect and "Dark World" monsters specifically state that the card must be discarded as part of an effect. -- Deltaneos (talk) 18:07, September 15, 2009 (UTC)
- In order to bypass it, you'll definitely need the effect "Destiny Hero - Diamond Dude" to avoid such a cost, please. (Fife5000 15:30, September 27, 2012 (UTC))
