Parrotrio is likely not a Pendulum in the anime[edit]
If you look on Yusho's duel disk in the episode, it's shown as an effect monster. It's not uncommon for a Pendulum to appear as a non-Pendulum in the anime, as shown with D/D Cerberus and Star/Timegazer Magician. DynamoDuskull (talk • contribs) 17:06, October 9, 2016 (UTC)
- I was thinking about this as well, but I don't have the episode downloaded anymore. Does anyone have a screenshot? I think it's inappropriate to list this card as a Pendulum Monster and having its OCG effects when we know that cards tend to have different effects in the anime and Yusho doesn't seem to be a Pendulum User. - There are plenty of anime sites on there that stream the episode, and don't require you to download it. If it's a matter of screen quality, I don't think that'll be an issue. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 17:05, November 20, 2016 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, it's pretty low res, and it's hard to see well, but there's no blue/green hue on it at all, so it being a Pendulum is very unlikely, not to mention from a plot standpoint. DynamoDuskull (talk • contribs) 10:05, November 21, 2016 (UTC)
- It's so tiny it's actually possible that the animators didn't care much about it, but considering we did have a tiny shot of "Sky Magician" like that long ago which was seemingly orange-framed, and "Sky Magician" did turn out to be an Effect Monster, I guess that's more reason not to assume "Parrotrio" is a Pendulum Monster in the anime. Yusho isn't a Pendulum User either way, it wouldn't make sense. I think we should assume "Parrotrio" is an Effect Monster in the anime article. Any thoughts?
