If I were to equip this to "Relinquished", if I were to use Relinqueshed's effect, would it still gain a 1500 attack boost?

[+]id imagine so. the text says (you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card)and ritual weapon is a spell card so if you have a monster equip to it, and a spell, its not breakin any rules
The reason I am wondeirng this is because Reinquished's effect says- "The ATK and DEF of this card become the same amounts as the monster equipped to this card.", so I have ben wondierng that even if I equpied it to relinquished, that it's effect would be negated. -V. Fire Daniels
[+] The effects will not be negated. you get the ritual weapon boost and the boost from the monster equip effect. lets say you equip ritual weapon, he now has 1500ATK, and then you steal a Vorse raider. relinquished now has 3400ATK, because ritual weapon is a spell and as i stated before the text reads (you can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card)
