The point of this deck is to cycle through Apprentice Magician to grab either Crystal Seer (for draw power) or another Apprentice Magician (for defense). This is an Anti-Meta Deck, so it includes Vanity's Fiend and Legendary Jujitsu Master to stop the likes of TeleDAD, Lightsworns, and Glad Beasts.
Mask of Darkness is used to retrieve some of my Trap Cards (which are vital to the deck). Krebons is used to Synchro Summon different monsters due to the varying levels of my monsters. Sangan searches for most of my other monsters, and Snipe Hunter is great for mass removal.
Book of Moon and Enemy Controller provide solid defense, and BoM also allows me to recycle my Flip Effect monsters. Brain Control and Soul Exchange are used to retrieve tribute fodder.
Divine Wrath and Seven Tools replace Solemn Judgment (which I lack). Reckless Greed is used for mass drawing power, and it can be recycled with Mask of Darkness.
In the side deck, Gorz is for in case I end up fighting a mass destruction deck. Mobius and Thestalos are used for extra support. Crow is used to remove cards from the Grave like DAD or JD. Dekoichi can replace Crystal Seer if my opponent manages to shut down the Apprentice Engine, and GK Spy and Guard can replace Apprentice Magician. Old Vindictive Magician would replace the last Apprentice. Grand Mole and Spirit Reaper are for extra support. Prohibition is an overall good card, and Threatening Roar and Torrential can be used if Mirror Force fails.
Cyber Twin, Cyber End, and Herk are placed in the Extra Deck for that very slim chance that I can use Monster Reborn in combination with Brain Control to retrieve opponent's cards.
