Thanks, I really enjoy taking the time to defend my actions.

  1. I loathe clogging up edit histories, and was already perfectly aware of the concept of edit wars. I'm perfectly capable of judging when a case is a "lost cause" and moving the discussion accordingly.
  2. "Once it is clear there is dispute." All I saw was an editor reverting their own edit (no explanation), then an anonymous editor restoring the content for unknown reasons (including insults), and then insults being tossed back-and-forth. When I come in with an actual argument (and restored the content), I expect the other editor to be reasonable, not to reiterate their same point and come back with a revert. "Hmmmmmmm maybe I wasn't specific enough. 1 more revert with more details." I was not expecting a bull-headed editor to revert again with the same reason. At this point, it's clear that the other editor is being belligerent, and very appropriate to move the discussion. Of course, it's easy to claim that everyone's edit-warring, when you have the gift of hindsight, huh? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 05:31, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
you're welcome! great fun all around
i stand by saying that your edits count as participating in the edit war - even if not intentionally
inbetween the insults, both users had already given actual arguments prior to yours: "It's still related thanks to Zerato[...]", "It does not list Sanctuary in The Sky specifically by name.[...]"
your first edit is reasonable enough, but after it's reverted i think there's a clear disagreement in what constitutes relation to a series (if there wasn't already), and sufficient unwillingness to back down from both parties that makes the best move taking it to the talk page from there
i'm willing to concede since the conflict's coming to a close by now anyway, and the discussion's already been migrated. but i do think this kinda situation should be handled with some more care in the future. especially since when suggesting a block for the same reason it can really end up looking bad. • Falminar (talkcontribs) 07:24, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
People can make different judgment calls, and now I'm not going to sweat about making that additional revert in a gray situation, with the action itself being in a gray area. Thanks for the feedback. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 08:05, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
:cheems: • Falminar (talkcontribs) 08:22, 18 June 2021 (UTC)

Funny, I thought you knew better than to "edit war", if going by the standards you presented here. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 06:59, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

:3 i'm kinda surprised i didn't get this message earlier!
i made those edits on mobile via #recent-changes on discord, where seeing context is basically impossible; i thought the removal was fresh. so i followed the 2-edit rule for a fresh debate. numberhunter's next edit made me notice there was context i was missing, after which i pointed out the issue on the discord
so, yes, yes i was edit warring - just not intentionally, i wouldn't touch that page if i saw the edits before
also. an admin using their admin powers is held to a higher standard • Falminar (talkcontribs) 07:52, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

Mimi's Reincarnation[edit]

Are you sure? Cuz I didn't see it, and it's not up on Peperoncino either. Maybe it was a different card? Do you have a pic of proof by any chance?BerserkerPhantom (talkcontribs) 23:49, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

i do, ye
(what's peperoncino?) • Falminar (talkcontribs) 23:52, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
Okay, my mistake, thank you.
It's a blog that lists anime/manga cards that appeared in episodes and under different characters.BerserkerPhantom (talkcontribs) 23:55, 7 August 2021 (UTC)

Heya! So, I was going to remove the second *link* to "The☆Dragon" (not usage of the word) and thought the caption could be extended as: `"The☆Dragon"! "The☆Dragon"!! The☆First The☆Card played by The☆Lukeman in The☆Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime’ (In English `"The☆Dragon"! "The☆Dragon"!! The first The☆ card played by The☆Lukeman in the Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS anime’). I figured since it was your original edit that set the tone of the page, I figured to ask you "Would that change be a bit overdone, or appropriate given the ridiculous sounding playstyle when read out loud?" Your call. :) GoldenDragonRider (talkcontribs) 08:39, 25 September 2021 (UTC)

you don't gotta ask before editing!
but i guess since you did, i do like the simplicity on the caption right now? • Falminar (talkcontribs) 08:55, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
I do agree at least that the second link in the caption should be removed; I'd have done it myself if I'd remembered to when editing the page before. ディノ千?!☎ Dinoguy1000 09:29, 25 September 2021 (UTC)
Are you asking me if you like the simplicity? :P Just wish Dinoguy didn't beat me to it, as I noticed a bracket missing in my comment, but I know the admins like to avoid lots of mini edits to a page. I'm sure one of you two will be back on it soon enough. Kindly, GoldenDragonRider (talkcontribs) 12:42, 25 September 2021 (UTC)

When renaming card pages based on 1 card's confirmed name, please cite that confirmed card in your move summary for the card page(s) you're moving. It may seem unnecessary in the present, but in the future, it can be difficult to track down why that move was made.
An example edit summary might be "Per Sportsdragon Striker". --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 02:51, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

i did have that in the edit summaries fur all the real life card pages; do i need it fur anime/manga pages too? • Falminar (talkcontribs) 02:53, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
I missed that. No, you don't need to do it for the "various media" card pages; that's optional. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 03:19, 22 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi, I (genuinely) feel that you're the best person to go to, for explaining why I'm wrong in terms of handling User:NumbersHunter02's situation. I don't feel I made any major missteps or used poor reasoning/logic/decisions. If you don't mind, on User talk:NumbersHunter02, could you give a good explanation of what the situation seems to be, determine if there's a problem(s) and what mistakes were made (if any), and how you'd resolve this? Theoretically, if you made a strong case, it'd be a good rationale for removing me as an admin. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 23:06, 7 January 2022 (UTC)

You can give a "yes" or "no" answer here, in response to actually giving a take on that issue. Nothing's being mandated here, just want to know if you have a take. If you don't answer for a week, I'll assume that's a silent no. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 06:18, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
uhh yea i was gonna! even without the message here, but like now i cant get away with just a quick meme or something i gotta give a more detailed response
but also i dont wanna play like prosecutor in a court case or something! im not shooting that high. but yea i can give a take • Falminar (talkcontribs) 08:34, 10 January 2022 (UTC)
Since it's been a week, I assume you're not participating. In that case: Get a bigger view of the scenario, before you start commenting on things. Criticism is fine, slander is not. --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 19:55, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
sry! sry!
i have like 6 paragraphs written i was gonna post this morning but i also have a lot of other things ive needed to do this week. these arent even the only 6 paragraphs ive needed to write!
gimme a sec • Falminar (talkcontribs) 20:08, 17 January 2022 (UTC)

Road Magic[edit]

I'll be honest, I have no idea why I wrote Dark Magic, instead of Dark Night. Cheers for the fix. Axlerate (talkcontribs) 23:26, 12 March 2022 (UTC)
